Bay Rise Park VC
6,800 S.F. Visitor Center and 8 Acre park with an Emergency Bay Rescue facility.
Inspired to educate future generations on climate change and sea-level rise the Bayshore Park Visitor Center is designed to serve as a living legacy of ecosystem change in the San Francisco Bay. The interpretive/event center will set in a Eight acre site that will restore native tidal ecosystems and create recreation areas for the community.
The building and site is a gateway facility to the 350 miles of San Francisco Bay Trails, providing a rest stop for walkers, joggers and bikers with bicycle repair station, food service and restrooms at the visitor center. The building has been designed with world-class bird clash prevention techniques lead by world class ornithologists.
